The first step on your metal-free zirconia dental implant journey is to schedule a consultation with Dr. Sambataro. During this visit, we’ll examine your oral health, discuss your smile and treatment goals, and address any concerns you may have. This is a great time to ask any questions you may have to determine whether this treatment option is right for you.

YOUR TREATMENT PLAN⎼CREATED TO FIT YOUR SITUATION

After your initial consultation, our Ellicott City dentist will begin to create your personalized treatment plan. Dr. Sambataro will help determine which implant solution works best for you and whether a supplemental procedure is needed. In some cases, a bone graft, gum disease treatment, or possible sinus lift is necessary before moving forward with the dental implant process.

The zirconia dental implant process varies from patient to patient. However, it can typically be completed within two to nine months. We’ll provide you with an accurate treatment plan, delivering the effective results you deserve.

Our Ellicott City dentist will consider several factors as he creates your personalized treatment plan, including how many teeth you’re replacing, your jawbone density, and the overall health of your gums.

YOUR STUNNING RESTORATION–COMPLETING YOUR RADIANT SMILE

If you need to replace one or more lost teeth with single implants, Dr. Sambataro will be your primary dentist. He’ll consult with you, prepare you for surgery, place the implant or implants, and continue with follow-up appointments.

For more extensive procedures, such as bone grafts or replacement of multiple teeth, Dr. Sambataro uses an oral surgeon specialist. They’ll work together to ensure a successful placement and restoration, then return to Dr. Sambataro for the restorative phase.

For these cases, Dr. Sambataro won’t perform any surgery. However, he’ll consult with you, prepare you for the procedure, and continue with follow-up appointments.

During your implant procedure, your jaw will develop a natural bond with the implant fixture placed through a process called osseointegration. This is where the zirconia implant actually integrates with your jawbone. Once your jawbone has fully healed, your customized restoration will be surgically placed.

Our translucent zirconia crowns are designed to emulate the sparkling white color of your natural teeth. Once the crown is attached, you’ll be ready to show off your stunning new smile.
